Amala Paul is a well known face in the south Indian cinema and she works mainly in Malyalam, Tamil and Telgu films. Her carreer start from a supporting role in Neelathamara which was a malyali film and after that Veerasekaran which was in Tamil.

Amala Paul is known as a south Indian film actress, who works in the South Indian film industries.she received critical acclaim for the portrayal of a controversial character in the film, Sindhu Samaveli. Amala paul next release, the romantic drama film Mynaa by Prabhu Solomon, this film made her a recognised actress in the industry. Amala became noted after playing the title role in Mynaa, she receive critical acclaim for her work.
In this film she played a role of the village belle Mynaa, and her performace she got more praise from the critics, her work was outstanding in this film and gave large commercial success on the box office and she was nominated for different type of awards such as Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress and Filmfare Awards.
After the success of Mynaa she became most popular in south Indian cienema Industry.Her next release was a Malyalam film Ithu Nammude Katha in which she played a supporting role, It was a low budget film but her performace was appriciated and film did well on the box offic. After that She acted in Deiva Thirumagal opposite Vikram and Anushka shetty, It was a big budget movie and a superhit film on the box office. She was praised and liked with co-star Vikram. In 2011 she was made her acting debutt in Telgu language film Bejawada which was directed by Ram Gopal Verma. She played college girl, Geetanjali role opposite Naga Chaitanya. In 2012 Amala Paul's first release was in Linguswamy's, Vettai, with Arya, Madhavan and Sameera Reddy. The film gain critical acclaim and commercial successfull movie with full Intertaining Masala pack. Amala Paul looks beautifull and gorgious in ths film. After that she worked in Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, Love Failure both films are commercially successfull on the box office. She worked opposite Siddharth, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal opposite Adharvaa, Aakashathinte Niram, Run Babby Run all the films are successfull as commercial basis and for her performance she was gain critcal prais and nominated for many awards and currently Amala paul is known as most popular actress in th south indian cinema industry.
12 June 2014 Amala Paul married Tamil filmmaker Vijay in Hyderabad in a traditional south Indian style wedding.
